Convert the GPT
Paste its name, instructions, and conversation starters into the GPT to Skill converter. It runs in your browser and gives you a SKILL.md.
Add it to your pod
Upload the skill. The pod keeps only the SKILL.md, so paste the facts your GPT used from its Knowledge files into the instructions first.
Send one invite link
Teammates and clients join with any email and add the pod to the AI they already use. Nobody needs your ChatGPT workspace.

The GPT's name, instructions, and conversation starters, plus any Knowledge you paste into the instructions. The skill works in ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode.
Doesn't

Questions
When exactly do custom GPTs stop?
OpenAI's retirement FAQ sets 11 December 2026. After that, GPTs and their pages can't be opened. The guide covers what changes.
Can my clients use the skill without my ChatGPT workspace?
Yes. Send them the invite link; a personal email works. Each person adds the pod to their AI once: Claude on any plan with custom connectors, or ChatGPT on Pro, Business, or Enterprise.
Do my GPT's Actions carry over?
No. A skill holds instructions; it doesn't call APIs on its own. OpenAI's FAQ says custom Actions must be rebuilt with a supported connector or a custom MCP server.
Can the people I invite read the instructions?
Yes. Anyone you invite can use a skill and read it, so keep private notes out of the skill.
What happens after the free 14 days?
Your team stays on Free unless you buy Team or Business. Nothing is charged unless you buy.
